What Pure-Cast does

Pure-Cast lets you discover and control supported TVs on the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone. In this release, Pure-Cast is focused on Samsung TVs.

Data we do not collect

Pure-Cast does not require an account. It does not include advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking in this release. We do not sell your personal information.

Local Network access

Pure-Cast asks for Local Network access only when you choose to find or connect to a TV. That access is used to discover supported TVs and send remote-control commands on your local network.

What stays on your device

Pure-Cast stores paired TV details, favorite-TV preferences, and local settings on your iPhone so reconnecting is faster. This information is not uploaded to a Pure-Cast account service in this release.

Copied connection details

If you choose to copy connection details for troubleshooting, that copy action is initiated by you. Pure-Cast does not automatically send those details anywhere.
